The Bass High Class of 1956 celebrated their 456 Reunion April 27 and 28, 2001. Friday activities included a golf tournament held at Chastain - North Fulton Park, informal lunch at Manuels, and a tour of Mary Lin School for "The Class of 1956". That evening an informal gathering was held at Blanchard's Special Events in Tucker. A tour of the Bass Lofts took place Saturday morning. Classmates enjoyed exploring our original, now renovated building, auditorium, gym, and backyard pool area. The leasing agent took us in the only vacant unit, which happened to be in the new building. Our main event was held Saturday evening at the restored historic home, 194 Carlyle House in Norcross. We had a good turnout and such a fun evening. We niissed our friends who were absent but hopefully they will be able to attend our October activities. We will be continuing (mo 45'h celebration during the 2001 Multi-class Reunion coming up. Plans are made for an informal gathering on Friday evening, October 19, 2001 at the home of Jim and Dot (Crook) Smith. Information and details will be in the upcoming mailout.
